Overview
About Me
I often hear that people I come across for the first time - like or dislike me instantly. I think I'm cursed with an ability to offend others by simply saying 'Hi, how are you?' and a 'trusty' face at the same time (except that profile picture where I look like the Godfather himself!).
My friends vouch for me, and my often quirky, ways. I value honesty most. I hate double faced people and I have a radar for others that are prone to that behaviour.
I'm very bad at small talk, as it simply bores me, and chances are if we won't jump on a passionate topic after few sentences we will struggle to continue the conversation. If, however, our minds are alike, these talks can last forever!
I tend to get along with people of my age or older, although I have been graced with enormous amount of patience and I can tolerate a lot. I don't hold inexperience against anyone. Ignorance, however, is another story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my travels I have strangers helping me more than I could ever assume. This was a big surprise to someone who has never travelled far before.
When I was introduced to CS my travel time was over, however, I felt like I owe something to people who are in a similar circumstances. Having a job and a place to stay meant that I could return the favour.
I got to know more people (surfers and hosts) and I got involved. I was a Manchester forum Moderator, organizing events, workshops, creating videos for community, or just showing travelers around.
I take great pleasure in helping others, as one can never know if they will need help in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS
Herbert, Pratchett, Tolkien, Lukjanienko - I'm drawn to fantasy and sci-fi
MUSIC
Regina Spektor, Led Zeppelin, The Heavy, Norah Jones, - It is hard to pin a specific category I like most, I'd like to think I have a broad interest in music.
FILMS
Aliens, Terminator, Predator, Avengers, Spiderman.. If it has superhero or monster in it - I will probably like it!
GAMES
Minecraft, Uncharted, Mirrors Edge - with budgets totaling Hollywood production this is no longer niche market - another media to pay attention to. Often as rich in content as books or films. This made recently to learn about game development.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day I left my home, my country and the Uni to set on the journey having 5 Euro in my pocket. I spend almost 2 years hitchhiking across Europe visiting many countries and living of a street art. I spend the winter back in Poland and after that I took 10 Euros and decided to cycle around Europe.
Few years later I was fully settled in UK, I have decided to go on a motorbike journey - and backtrack many places I have seen or discovered in my previous travels. I managed to race my bike on Nurburgring, and 2 weeks later I was skydiving.
