ABOUT ME

not a big party girl but nothing against a glas of wine at the pub next door. I like to spend time with my friends, to go on a biketour or to have a bbq in the garden.
i know a bit of a lot, so i can tell you e.g. where the paper plate was patented or that there is twice as much rain falling in german novels than in real life. but i don't know how to hang a picture frame the way it should be.
once in a while i feel the need of leaving home for some weeks or months, then it's time for traveling but I've been always glad of coming back home

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

during trips before cs i enjoyed to be hosted by friends or to give them a warm welcome at my place (and still do), with cs i tried it the other way around and not just met great people and had fun times but made new friends

Interesses

well, i really like dancing (swing/lindy hop, salsa, forro and a tiny bit of tango), i'm a bit into brasilian music,i like going to concerts, doing some sports (canoeing, hiking, skating - still need to learn how to break, ouch) and cooking for or with friends...

music: something between chili peppers, billy talent, linkin park, the kooks, elvis costello, jeff buckley, peter fox, jack penate, feist, the decemberists, ryan adams, barenaked ladies, doris day, louise attaque, babylon circus and jaune toujoursit's always cool to get to know some new bands and music, so bring along some from your country. the music, i mean. wait, don't mind, bring the band as well

movies: bizarre scandinavic like "kitchen stories" and lovely french or italian movies like "ribelli per caso", a jane austen is always good (i'm a girl, so it's not too embarrassing to say that), sometimes typical hollywood blockbuster and german movies, well some of them

books: haven't got any special genre or novelist i prefer, but i liked gilles paris and david foster wallace... choice is random, often i just liked the cover

being in a piece of art in bilbao: complete white room, shaped like an egg. floor, walls, ceiling - it all has been one. nothing for the eyes to locate.
