Overview
About Me
A young educated guy, looking for his meaning of life.
It sounds like I'm a confused 25 year-old. In fact, I kind of am. However, there's only one thing in this life I can assure myself is I want to travel around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Exploring the culture does not really happen in a hotel. It happens in a house of a local friend you just make, so you can actually observe and learn how people live in a certain place. Therefore, as well as free lodging, this is the main reason why I'm on here.
Interests
TRAVEL, duh !!!
Conversations about culture, travel, food, music, movie, or even dating...
Music, I like listening to music from all over the world, sometimes singing some foreign songs, even though my ability to sing is very limited.
I'm also an active guy, so I love outdoor recreational activities: hiking, kayaking, running... I also love watching sports: soccer, American football (I'm huge Seahawks fan), volley ball, basket ball, and etc...

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: people can who actually sing : Adele, Bruno Mars, the divas...
Movies: movies depicting people's lives in the past, revealing the social background at the time. For instance, Titanic, Memoirs of a Geisha, Farewell My Concubine ...
Books: mostly tourist books, self-improvement books, or some romance novel when my life gets a little too frigid
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked up to a peak to which the trail is tremendously steep with the elevation of 2167m. At the time, the trail could barely be seen due to excessive fog and luxuriant plants. I finished the hike in 1 hour. Woohoo (kind of a big deal for small guy like me)
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
I volunteered as a Vietnamese teacher for elementary kids in Seattle, WA
I'm voluntarily teaching English now in Saigon to people can barely afford a teacher but are very diligent to learn this language.
LEARN
The more I study, the more I realize the knowledge I've acquired is like a drop of water in the ocean. I'm still trying to learn more and more lessons about life everyday. Hopefully, I can do it best by travelling around the world.
THOUGHT TO SHARE
Despite all the cruel things people are doing everyday, this planet is still very amazing, and so are human beings. Let's go touch, see, smell, hear, taste, feel, and the world, and discover it to the fullest.
