I am Quyen, Vietnamese. I came to Australia for working holiday and so far I am enjoying it.

I like to read, travel, hike, yoga, I learn new things every year. I am very adventurous and my friends said I am nice, caring and transparent. I think they are right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures and Couchsurfing is where I made friends with so many nice people from around the world.

Interests

I did a lot of solo hiking and really enjoy it. I will do trail running but I prefer slowly walk and camp on huts or base than running. Mountainous tracks in Nepal and Pakistan are on my list.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read different things and listen to many types of music depends on my mood but mainly jazzy songs and catchy pop music. I like to read my favourite books in 3 languages and compare the translations, and I like to read books in pairs.
I am not a big fan of blockbuster movies but never say no when my friends invite me out for a movie. I like old school movies more than modern ones.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you some basic Asana yoga, meditation practices or some workout routines. I can share a lot of things if we have same interests.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to meet people who are like-minded. I am not a party lover but I drink occasionally. I get up early and go to bed early. I usually start and end my days with yoga and meditation. I like to cook for my hosts and my guests because I appreciate you guys' existence in my life. Usually after work I am tired and need a quiet time so I don't talk much when I host, but when travel I am an absolute extrovert and if you are keen on saving our planets, hiking, old-school movies and French/ Japanese novels, cultural and deep religious talks... then our conversation will never end.
