About Me
Hi!
I'm a German-Vietnamese psychology student -
Growing up biculturally brought some difficulties with it, I felt out of place sometimes, although I have been born in Germany. After traveling and living in East Asia, I am grateful for feeling at home in different cultures now instead!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Actively seeking other people's life stories and perspectives is the best of it all, so let's hang out and get to know each other :)
I love meeting people who share so many life experiences very different from mine. Hearing about the struggles people went through that I didn't live through myself, is very humbling and I admire the kindness they still kept. I believe sharing the challenges we go through really gives a mutual feeling of comfort in life, as we seek for meaning, fulfillment and content.
Interests
Food has always been a big part of my life. I love learning about the origins of dishes, different edible plants, preparation and cooking methods, food cultures of different ethnicities and countries and have the best time trying everything hahahha
My exchange semester in South Korea really kickstarted my love for hiking and bike touring. I also gained confidence in travelling, resulting in a gap year solo travelling in East Asia as of now!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share my story, talking about 1st generation identity between two cultures, also big advocat for mental health and therapy, I can also talk about psychological theories if you are interested in that field :) As well as, self-reflection and equality eg.
I am a very curious person and can find joy in many things :) I am not a big party person but otherwise, I would join you in many activities: from going for food, taking care of the garden, going for a walk, hike, riding the bike, movies, gaming, board games eg. or chitchatting over a bathroom clean-up? why not haha
