my name is Rodney. ive been on couchsurfing for some time. I used it as I traveled from wa to ca. im 30 years old. im married and have 2 sons age 4 and 7 {current year 2017} my wife is a cook and im a stay at home dad. I have had 5 heart surgery's. currently we live in a 2bedroom apt and hoping to soon buy a home. I do have a dog. its a red heeler named liberty she is 6 months old. I enjoy different cultures and learning more about ppl and the stories they share. everyone has something to offer. my hobbies are gardening, fishing, my family, car audio, and learning anything I can that interest me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been stuck in travels and wished for a place to stay. Money can be very tuff for some and other may just rather have a more human connection. what ever the case we are all human and have same basic needs. I think karma is a real thing and we as people should be kind and willing. All I ask is to have respect and manners. I do plan to travel again soon for heart surgery. I live in a small town called woodland,wa 22 miles from Portland.

I like books by james fry as thats about all I have ever read besides articles or info on hobbies etc. I like a lot of movies and shows. I like Anthony bourdain {sp} shows and one movie I like to share with this page is more a documentary called craigslist joe.
