ABOUT ME

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we’ve only been surfing, because our home in Lisbon is just too small, there’s not even a couch.. But we’re always interested in meeting other surfers, showing them around in places where they wouldn’t end up on their own, making new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had really good experiences in Madrid with such great people who just took us in as if they’d known us forever and were super-sweet.

Interests

Love all kinds of sports - hiking (we can’t get enough of the National Park trails and mountains in Portugal), skydiving, swimming and just about anything to do with water, biking, just being outdoors. Also camping and travelling, even in Portugal – we try to make small camping trips on weekends, trying to go always to different places and explore. We’re already starting to be really good with our primus (the portable stove), we can make a glamorous camping-dinner or picnic just about anywhere :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Coetzee, Bergman, Dovlatov, Kundera, Ismail Kadare
Movies: Documentaries, Stay, Das Leben der Anderen, Wonder Boys, 1895 (a great Estonian animation), the Machinist, the Game, Twilight Samurai...
Music: we enjoy almost all kind of music but we headbang at the sound of jazz for Keit and metal for Rodrigo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably climbing the Half Dome and accidentally swimming into a shark in the Indian Ocean, these are the kind of things that make you work harder to get back out there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Mauritius, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Estonia, Portugal, United States
