Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Not to sound cliche, but I'm here for the community vibe of couchsurfing. When I'm hosting I try to create a more authentic social situation than a hostel or guesthouse, and appreciate hosts who are on the same page. That being said, if you're the type of host who is just offering a space to sleep, I'd still be interested depending on the situation. But yeah, while couchsurfing/hosting I've had amazing experiences, made incredible friends, and seen unforgettable places, so I won't stop anytime soon.

Música, películas y libros

I'm constantly listening to public radio music channels in the US like Open Air CPR from Denver, the Current from Minneapolis, and KCRW from LA (check out their free music streaming app!!! ). I love listening to the radio wherever I travel too, even if the music is not necessarily my thing. Oh, and Romanian House music forever. I'm not super up to date on movies, but I'd say I'm equally into thought provoking non-mainstream movies and complete trash action/comedy Hollywood bullshit. There's a time and a place for everything.

I have taught English, skiing, and snowboarding while living abroad but never taught formally in my home country haha. Always eager to impart my experience or skills if I find someone with common interests. I love learning new languages, but I really need to focus on my next serious project because I'd rather be trilingual than taxi cab fluent in obscure languages like Mongolian, Swedish, Georgian, etc. I can share any knowledge about traveling or just good vibes. Oh, and I can definitely share food; whether I'm surfing or hosting, I like to cook for people.
