CURRENT MISSION
Be a part of something bigger than you, but better because of you.
ABOUT ME
I am a want-to-be academic. My area of interest is international education or politics. Currently, I am a student at Teachers College-Columbia University. I also have two part-time jobs. One as an adjunct lecturer at Berkeley College. Another as a communication specialist for an educational non-profit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couched surfed a few years ago, but only through a friend's friend who was active on the site. So, there was no need to start a profile. But, it was amazing to see the other travelers in her place. This crazy French guy trekking the world without using and airplane, wild.
I, unfortunately, have either lived in one-room flats, with no furniture but a bed or dorms since then. So, I have not offered much. I will start offering coffee service to people visiting. One day, if I ever move into anything large than a pillbox...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience happend years ago in Nashville, Tennessee. Nothing exciting. Years later, I tried it again in Hong Kong. Two Singaporeans took me in as their first guest. I was nervous, they were nervous, but it could not have turned out better. Thanks guys!

Teach, Learn, Share
Americans who travel quite extensively always have a different perspective on the world. We get a bad label because many of us don't travel. I'd like to help learn all I can about the world and hopefully dispel myths later to my fellow Americans.
