ABOUT ME

I'm an easygoing person who is interested in languages and cultures. I like traveling a lot, even though I do it less than I want. Also, I love going out to clubs, bars, coffeeshops, or just walking around town. Libraries and bookstores are my favorite places to spend time on.

Also I like showing people around São Paulo, the city where I was born and I still live in. Even though I like its touristic places, I enjoy going to different venues, places that can't be found in guides. By the way, these kind of places are my favorites when I'm traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

We all are learning everything, all the time. Doing it with friends can be more exciting. Of course, respect is necessary when doing this exchange.

I'm always looking for new experiences, new feelings, new perspectives. And I don't think that it's associated to money. A snap chat with someone who is waiting the bus can be a lifechanging experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to CS. But definitely I'm keen on going to meeting and parties as much as I can, helping people to get around the city and showing them around while learning from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to all kinds of music. However, my favorites include modern and classic rock, indie rock and Brazilian popular music.

Concerning reading, I studied Brazilian and Portuguese literature in college. I know a bit of American literature (I loved "On the road", by Jack Kerouac) adn read some Oscar Wilde and Geoge Orwell as well.

Finally, when it comes to movies, i like watching dramas and those which make you think about something. I wouldn't consider myself a "moviegoer" person though,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Living by the Rockie Mountain National Park, and getting the change to hike a lot!
- Living São Paulo nightlife and know it fairly well;
- Going to NYC once.

- Portuguese (I've been working as Portuguese as a scond language/foreign language. Even though I do it for a living, I like helping people who are already learning it with no costs);
