About Me
CURRENT MISSION
GO TO GUATEMALA AND LIVE A LA GUATEMALTECA!! Improve my spanish and my salsa skills :P
ABOUT ME
PARTY-LEARN-DANCE-PARTY-EAT-LEARN-DANCE !! That's me !
I am 23yo-mix-of-opposites girl who likes to travel, discover and meet people. I enjoy a lot hanging out with friends, having BBQ at the lake or lunch/aperitif with good food and good red wine ! Actually by good food I mean spaghettis (bolognese, pesto or à la Whatever), actually Italian food in general, Mexican Food, Spanish tapas, asian Food (<3 sushiiiii), huge salad this cheese, tomatoes, ham, onion etc, and not to forget : chocolate... as a good swiss girl hehe. I can spend hours cooking for friends, but when it comes to myself it's more like slice of bred with butter cheese and ham ;-).
About the "mix-of-oppsite" : I sometimes also need my space, which means being just by myself. During this time I like to got for a walk, read a book, laying on my bed, trying to redo the world or thinking about more trips. I adapt myself to the people I am with. I love partying but I also love being quite and go to bed early :). When I am passionate I am a hardworker. I like challenges and like to reach my goals.
When I´m in a new country, I like to visit the sightseeings (not fan of museums though) but above all, I like to meet the locals, discover how they live there, try to communicate even if we don´t speak the same language, taste their food and learn from them. I do believe everybody has smth to be learnt from.
PHILOSOPHY
- What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
- Never give up on your dreams.
=> I love the philosophy and moral of "O Alquimista" from Paulo Coelho
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I moved to Berlin in July 2009 and hope i'll be able to host more people than i used to when i was living in Switzerland. I was living in a 40'000 inhabitants city, that wasn't so touristic, so I was mostly hosting friends that I met in CS meeting.
I like to participate by hosting but also by joining or meeting couchsurfers for a drink and give them advices about the city I'm living in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
- participated in some CS meetings
- organised some meetings
- hosted a few people
- crushed some people's couch

Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES
Favorite : The Truman Show, 500 days of Summer.
I enjoy watching movies at the cinema or at home with
friends but I'm unable to watch a movie alone... So boring ! I like Astérix & Obélix : Mission Cléopâtre, The pacifier, The Lovely Bones, Monster Inc., Jeux d´enfants, Surf's up.
MUSIC
Favorite : Colli Buddz, Alicia Keys, Booba
Music makes life beautiful ! I can't spend one single day without listening to music ! I love almost every kind of music, but especially reggae, ragga, urban beats, pop-rock, latin music & electro. My favourite song ?! I have too many to name them all, but i love "A Woman's Worth" by Alicia Keys, "Come Around" by Collie Buddz, and "Herbalist" by Alborosie.
BOOKS
Favorite : The Alchimist, Paulo Coelho.
I enjoy Harlan Coben's book a lot. I used to be a big Harry Potter fan, but that was 9 years ago. I'm not into the potter thing anymore now. I love magazines such as GEO, with great pictures and interesting explanation. I like Witness Eye and National Geographics travel books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Traveling for 2 months through Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil and finally realising one of my dream ! Those countries have a reputation that they really don't deserve. Landscapes are beautiful, people are welcoming and generous, food is excellent, drinks are so good... I juste loved this trip - April/May/June 2010 (With Arthur)
- Backpacking 3 weeks in beautiful Southern Mexico - January/February 2010
- Amazing Car trip from Antalya to Kapadokia with Arthur and Jessie - DECEMBER 2009
- Old Head's Cliff & Cliffs of Moher, Ireland - JULY
2009 (with Arthur)
- Driving through the desert from LA to Las Vegas -
APRIL 2008 (with Steph)
- My first CS experience. Xmas meeting in France. Bruno hosted about 20 people in his dodjo. Amazing !
- Diving with baby sharks and lots of other fish, Malaysia (with Nantana) - JULY 2000
- Saw my brother puting a corn seed in his nose, sniffing it in, getting his breath blocked... Wasn't that funny at the moment, but when I think about it now, I have to laugh ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn. Learning is an unlimited world and
that's exactly why I love to learn so much.
Everyday of your life you learn something new.
Isn't this amazing !?
At the moment I'm trying to learn spanish as I really love this language. It is hard tough to learn a language when you don't have the opportunity to speak much.
I like to share my knowledge with everyone who's
interested. I enjoy having talks about any topics.
