About Me

It's been awhile since I've used couch surfing, but figured I'd check it out again!
Currently in Baltimore while my partner undergoes treatment at UMMC for Glioblastoma. Looking for new friends and short-term housing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not? Local experiences, new friends, adventure :)

Interests

I feel the need to warn people that I love all baby animals and will drop whatever I am doing if I see one. I'm really good at knowing the lyrics to virtually every song ever but not so good at knowing the name of the song or the artist. I love cheese. And pizza. And avocados.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Queen, Marvin Gaye, Cream, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, Beyonce, this is hard. I am not ashamed to admit I will forever be a Justin Timberlake fan, and I love going to DMB concerts. As far as Biggie and Tupac go I have to side with Tupac, but I don't deny Biggie's talent.

Movies - Pulp Fiction, Death at a Funeral, Breakfast Club, Grosse Point Blank, Kill Bill, Deadpool, Hesher, Almost Famous, HP... Romances are dumb.

Books - Lately I've been reading a lot of books on conflict analysis and feminist theory, but my favorite book since I was a child is Where the Red Fern Grows. Makes me cry every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surviving almost 28 years is pretty amazing considering all of the stupid shit I have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to open a bottle of wine with a boot. Or how to make your own wine in a bucket. Basically just alcohol-related tricks... if you're into that kinda thing..

What I Can Share with Hosts

A drink(s)? A hug? A pizza (as long as its a large)? Definitely can share lots of stories from traveling.
