Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling alone because I love meeting new people on the fly! Some of my coolest experiences have been completely unplanned and based on being welcomed into a group of strangers. I don't want to go to a place and experience it by throwing money around. I want to connect with people.

(It's also a little nerve-wracking traveling alone as a woman, so having a travel buddy - even for a few hours - is a good vibe.)

Everything, really. But mainly photography, good food, great beer, late nights, and long days spent outdoors. The only thing I love better than exploring a city, is exploring nature. I love a good scenic vista!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Puerto Rico last year, I went on a caving tour of the Rio Camuy cave system, which was BY FAR the coolest experience of my life. Caves are completely insane. Best part about the trip, though? Meeting up with some people from the group the next day, driving to El Yunque (the rainforest), swimming in La Mina falls, snorkeling in Bahia las Cabezas, and BARELY catching our 6pm flights! (Security stopped us because we were still wearing our soaked bathing suits and covered in sand haha!)
