Overview
About Me
We are no longer hosting in Budapest. I'm kind of bored of the city, and actually we moved to our countryside home in a charming small village next to Szekszárd, called Mórágy. :)

I feel myself a bit stranger in today’s society. I don’t have a smartphone, I don’t have facebook. I believe in simple things; to smell, to touch, to see, to understand, to feel and to be there…
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
AS A SURFER
The first time we looked for a couch was miraculous. I asked only one person and she was wonderful and helped us in every way she could. After that in 2010, when we tried to visit big cities in Spain, we couldn't find any hosts. It happened because of our inexperience. We were new in these kind of things and we've not written appropriate requests. :)
The next year we travelled around Spain again and camped outside. It was two months. That time I realized traveling is so easy, and it gives you more and more. But I had something what I really missed. Peoples. It was good being with friends but we only spoke with each other, never with anybody else.
After realizing this mistake we had changed the method of writing and started to use CS again. Finally in the summer of 2013 we had much more success with our new attitude. We hitchhiked back home from Lisboa, got to know the locals besides made new friendships. We met so many kind and generous people on the way and we've returned with great experiences.
AS A HOST
At the beginning we've surfed in foreign countries, so after that there was time to reciprocate some of the kindness.
We've been hosting surfers since February, 2013. All the time we've met interesting, kind and very trusty guys, so we would like to keep on hosting until we still have good experiences.
I hope we can help to have a good time in Budapest.
Interests
Doing something. Anything.
Traveling... yesss, what a suprise... I prefer go on a trip only with a backpack and visit new places, new cities without strict plans, just discovering by accidental. Have a coffee in a local pub far away from expensive touristic areas. Enjoy every moment of the journey. Sometimes being on the way much more interesting than the arrival.
Really like cooking, actually it's a passion. I used to spend several hours in the kitchen day by day.
Reading. Mainly Hungarian literature. Playing on bass guitar, listening music and sometimes if there's a good company I like going out and dancing.
And yeah, I love driving my 34 years old yellow Opel Manta! XD

Music, Movies, and Books
Oldies.
Especially music from '60s and '70s... Favourites: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Moody Blues, Donovan, The Who, Jethro Tull, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and so on... All of the real great musicans.
I used to listen different music like Aerosmith, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Pearl Jam even Metallica. I still love them. And 10 years ago actually I was totally different, a metal fan...
Right now my favorite song:

Actually I'm not a movie addicted. But if I have to pick one, for me the best film ever: Some like it hot, with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.
Books?
I love to read - mainly Hungarian fine literature.
And I really enjoy Gabriel García Márquez books: One Hundred Years of Solitude, Love in the Time of Cholera.
Some others: The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Moscow to the End of the Line by Venedikt Erofeev.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
C'mon, that does NOT mean you have to swim with sharks... You can see amazing things everywhere all the time if your eyes are open. But be sure we have enough stories ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
Nice to share, once I heard it and still my favourite:
"Go and discover the world and don't leave anything else behind but foot-marks."
What I Can Share with Hosts
A smile? :)
Can help in the kitchen, make dinner... whatever.
And will leave your room at least 5% cleaner than it was before. ;)
