ABOUT ME

For the love of god I hate answering questions like this. Well here we go, I love kitch, old photos, anything that seems to have multiple layers that you can read into. I am an avid postcard collecter. I enjoy music as I am sure most people do to some extent or another. I like the weightlessness of water. The feeling of a storm coming on.

PHILOSOPHY

To a large extent I am an egalitarian, I believe essentaily that life no mattter animal or plant is equal in worth. Humans included considering that they are animals.
On a more human to human level I believe that we should attempt rationality, logic and compassion towards one another and everything that makes up our existance.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have been reading alot of classic literature, Hemmingway, Doestoesky, Hardy, Camus, Kafka. While reading novles I try to keep up on comics. Some of my favorite comic artists are, Tim Lane, Charles Burns, Chris Ware, Archer Prewit. I also enjoy old 1950's horror comics, like The Vault of Horror. Currently I have been exploring doo-wop from the fifties and early sixties, I love blues primarily from the 1910's to 1930's. Soul from the fifties and sixties. I tend to try and reject technology as much as possible, although I suppose it is inevitable that I should go back on this creed. I love horror movies, awesome gorey makeup, nothings better. Susperia, Dead Ringers, The Blood on Satan's Claw, The Devils, Videodrome, Down By Law, Repo Man, Stranger Than Paradise, ect. David Cronenburg, Jim Jarmush, Ken Russel are some of my favorite directors. How many times can I watch Total Recall? I don't know, but I love it!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Spain and France. I stayed in Spain for almost a month. I went from Bilbao, to Madrid, To Granada, Savilla, Nerja, Barcellona. I loved being in the Basque of Spain the people are amazing. I was there during the week of festival. Granada has some of the best street performers. What a beautiful place. While in France I spent some time in the country side and Paris, but of course.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love printmaking, it combines drawing, painting, collage. I would be more than willing to let you have all the knowledge I have and maybe do some collaborative projects.
