About Me
Currently living a quiet life of writing and antique restoration in Boston.
Intermittent travel sprinkled in every so often, in which I try to find the story of a place.
I've been in Boston quite a while and have curated quite a list of fun things to do, and places to go (so feel free to ask me!) My favourite places are those that are rather unremarkable and have no real claim to fame, but no less arresting.
I love cooking and learning how to cook things other people love to make.
If you have any cooking adventures you need a buddy for, I'm always willing! My kitchen is your kitchen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using this network in 2009, and it changed my life completely!
So, even though the site is awful to navigate now, I'm still here because of the philosophy; it's the best way to make friends while traveling.
Things I'd be really into:
going on walks with local hosts
take surfers on walks around Boston
Food as culture/kitchen exchange
teach me local card games
take me to local drinking holes and food spots
show me where you like to smoke a cigarette and think
Interests
(eating) food, (making) food, (dreaming about) food
traveling to places near and far
karaoke
unearthing beautiful and strange places in Boston that I didn't know about last week
live music, bar hopping, museum hopping, roaming through cities, architectural wonders, bookstores, libraries, hand rolled cigarettes, cooking, playing card games.
