ABOUT ME

I love the idea of couch surfing- like hospitality was like 300 years ago, where instead of being locked up in some hotel your hanging with locals and learning some interesting stuff and swapping stories. I could stay in normal accommodations but this just seems more like the sort of thing I like. I have backpacked extensively in all sorts of places and love a good old banter about travels and war stories and cool stuff thats happened and thinking about others' perspectives as we grow with the world.

Ive travelled a fair bit and now Im going round the place launching a new customer feedback and review business and getting back out and about at the same time! I enjoy making people laugh as I'm just a big kid.

PHILOSOPHY

If you believe in it, do it. Be cool to others and planet while your at it though.

We should aim to leave this planet and its people having added and not detracted to the value of both

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done maybe a dozen or so surfs so far, hosted about the same and met some great people from a wide range of backgrounds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As above I've surfed at or so dozen places, hosted about the same and been blown away at how well this thing works and how well it uses some long forgotten values to base itself on. I look forward to hosting and surfing more in the future

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the Himalayas, been shot at in Africa, slept in South American jungles, inside Silver Mountain, into long forgotten catacombs, 3 inches from a Lion's roaring mouth, w w rafting, climbed Kili had a reasonable lash at a few things. parachuting, bungy, looked down the barrel of semi-auto in Burma, wreck diving, offshore sailing, coastal cruising, rode ostriches, cross country and normal skiing, seen uyuni salt plains, burned the devil 500m underground in bolivia, done macchu Picchu and and many other assorted semi truths! :-) It was supposed to be one thing, oh well never mind, sorry! :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

People who are constructive and think about solutions I tend to gain the most from and vice versa. In small doses I also appreciate people with mad and wild ideas and I love different views points on stuff.
