About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Grab life by the throat and live it to pieces
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Poland, but I moved to the UK when I was 10, then spent a year living in the French Alps, finished my degree and moved to Martinique to practice my French and enjoy the sun. I then moved back to London to finish my masters in French Caribbean literature.
I now work as a documentary photographer and photojournalist in London. If you are interested, take a look at my website www.suzyra.com
I love learning new languages and meeting people from all over the world. I have many exciting stories and travel adventures that I can share with you.
I miss living in France and love hosting French-speakers so that I can practice my rusty skills.
PHILOSOPHY
The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think it's a great way to travel and meet people from all over the world and share stories. I use the website regularly to meet rock climbers, find language exchange meet ups and share travel experiences.
I am not on Couch Surfing for hook-ups or to find a romantic relationship. Please do not message me, or send a request to surf with me if that is your intention. There are other websites and apps for that. I use the CS website only to meet new people, make friends and create links with various communities.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first joined the CS community in 2011 when I was moving to France for my Erasmus year and my first couch experience was in Grenoble and it was great! I got to see France from a completely unexpected perspective. It was a great introduction to the country and has inspired me to participate in the CS community.
Sine 2011, I have surfed in France, Spain, Switzerland, Israel and Palestine and can't wait to travel more and get to know more CS hosts and surfers.
Interests
Reading, travelling, cinema, learning new insturuments (and frequently giving them up due to the lack of patience), learning new languages, irony, coffee, aronofsky, really sour polish food, meeting new people, eating cold ice cream during winter, slackline, climbing, skiing, swimming.
I am a documentary photographer and take a lot of pictures. So if you are going to stay with me get ready for my lens.
