ABOUT ME
As a traveller, I am relaxed yet I like my trips to be a bit organized but flexible. It's a matter of enjoying the place until the last drop! Talking about drops, I love to discover the local food and beverages of places I visit. I rarely say no to a hiking, sightseeing, beaching, snorkelling proposal. I always enjoy discovering local arts, dances, and historical places. And I would always consider stuff like bungee or sky diving when available! And I would lie not mentioning handcraft jewellery that I usually go crazy for where ever I go!
When I am home, I am a very hard worker student. I study in Montreal, Canada in international management. It brought me to discover plenty of new cultures, way of thinking and fortunately to travel a lot! New York, Taiwan, and soon Thailand. Prior to that, I completed a degree in hotel and restaurant management in Trois-Rivières, Canada which (also!) opened me door to more global mobility and made me meet people from abroad. It brought me to Peru where I was living in a host family as a student project. Even thought I love to keep my schedule full of projects and busy I'll always do my best to host, help, and meet people travelling to my place. See you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first sunrise at Machu Picchu, Peru. After a short yet intense hour trek in the early morning, we finally reached the top of the mountain. What we've seen when we passed the gate I think everyone will remember for the rest of its life. The mysterious ruins were still asleep, the fog gradually dissipated and the valley awoke quietly. A bath of light in the vast, an oasis of peace as there are few. I felt a deep respect for the place and tears filled my eyes.
My first Chinese lantern at Pingxi, Taiwan. At dusk, using the Chinese brush, we scribbled our dear secret wishes and requests on the red paper lantern. Among others, I wrote down the names of all my loved ones, the ones I have, the one I lost. I wanted it to be written in the sky. So once our heart and our soul were well draw, we lighted our lantern and hoped it wouldn't take fire as that of those who went just before us! Honestly, I would had been horrified to witness my own catch fire. As the hand of the divine power that makes your dreams ashes ... no thank you! So, we finally lit it and it gently soared into the dark skies. The song "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" playing in my head. Following the progress of our beloved lantern we saw a bunch of little points of light in the dark sky. They were lanterns from the neighbouring village drifting with the wind. Like dozens of messages of hope that were being delivered. And my eyes filled of tears (again). An intense almost religious moment for me. For the record, lanterns use to be send by people to let their family knows they were still alive.
