About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing the world and helping people while I'm at it
ABOUT ME
I love to travel. I want to see the world before I am 30. I am getting my BA in International Development and Social Change at Clark University in Massachusetts, but I grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota and love going back for short amounts of time! I studied abroad during the 2011-2012 school year, a semester in Switzerland and a semester in Ghana. I love to volunteer, but I also love to see different sites. I am always up for adventures and meeting new people. I play Ultimate Frisbee and thoroughly enjoy finding people around the world that play as well. I am also a huge music person and love meeting people who have similar tastes in music as mine! I love reading books about people that are helping the world. I find that one can always learn information from people. I am that person that strikes up a conversation with you on an airplane :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am really into indie rock music- bands such as the Decemberists, the New Pornographers, Bon Iver, Cloud Cult, Guster, Dispatch, Fleet Foxes, Death Cab for Cutie, and many more as well. Music is one of the most important things in my life. I love books as well- The Blue Sweater, Half the Sky, Stones into Schools, and many others. I prefer non-fictions, ones that are about topics relevant to my studies. In terms of movies, I am a huge fan of the Sandlot, Spaceballs, Rat Race, and the Princess Bride. I also like many others but I feel as if those are ones that I will always enjoy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Petra. I spent a summer in Israel working for a coexistence organization. I went to Morocco for two weeks and lived in the Medina in Rabat. I taught English for a month outside of Antigua, Guatemala
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to cook. I can teach people how to play Ultimate Frisbee. And I can teach basic first aid
