ABOUT ME

I'm a 1.93 m (6 ft 4) tall guy, 31 years old, slender, who enjoys going to places.
I feel often more comfortable abroad than at home.

I have a wide range of interests, so simply ask and I like to tell.

I am looking forward to do interesting work, either in the Netherlands or abroad.

PHILOSOPHY

It is good to meet people, sometimes even more if they are from different origin. Give everyone a chance, but be skeptical. Not everything people tell shows what they really think or want. A promise is not in every culture something to keep.
But every time you meet someone it opens up your mind a bit more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First I surfed a few couches, then I enjoyed hosting people and now I hope to make friends in Prague.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since having my own place in Hoorn I hosted a number of nice and open people, some of which I showed around in either Hoorn or Amsterdam.
The first was with Rosemary Hill, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
She is a very friendly host who showed perfectly what Couch Surfing is about, with enthusiastically showing us some of the most interesting places in/around Kingston, like f.i. the 1,000 Islands!

兴趣

I'm interested in the world outside my window.
I like cycling, hiking, running, playing pool billiards, read, exploring new places and people and have furthermore a wide range of interests.
I also like taking a bit of time while going to places.
Leading an interesting tour in East Asia or North America is one of the things that I would like to do.

Movies & books that are about adventure, action, mystery or one's that take you away from the place that you are reading it. One thing the should have in common = humour!

I like explaining things, especially when I can help people out with something. I have nice capacities with MS Excel, basic administration, communication and know how to read a map, but also enjoy math and a lot of other stuff.
