ABOUT ME

I consider myself a happy, easy going person. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing my experiences, and learning from others. I grew up in Seattle, Washington and have always had a passion for the outdoors. I love running, hiking, yoga, camping, Frisbee, and simply being active. I enjoy film and photography, and recently lived in Greece for three months while helping create a feature length film. In my experience abroad I fully realized the joy that accompanies meeting people with diverse interests, beliefs, and world views. I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington, and I am very excited for the adventures that await!

PHILOSOPHY

"For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time to still be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. I have very little Couchsurfing experience, but am so excited for that to change! I love and support the idea behind this community, and cannot wait to become more involved.
