I'm an outdoorsey type. I grew up and live in Melbourne with my partner and dog and a couple of cool housemates. I'll be travelling the UK for a brief 2-3 weeks and would love to meet some like-minded locals, because places are people!

If there are any wildlife/nature/circus/hooping/music things on, I am there!

I prefer homes to hostels, and people to landmarks. A bit of company and local knowledge don't go astray. I'd really like to meet people who like to get out walking or adventuring or who can tell me/show me their favourite cafe. Or who know where the good local gigs are at.

Same with books. Tim Winton is a wonderful Australian author and inspired me to travel to the Kimberley. I also love Isabel Allende.

I've spent a lot of time working and volunteering in remote places in Australia chasing my wildlife ecology dreams from the forest to the desert to the sea :)
(Then I come back to Melbourne and enjoy gooooood coffee!)
