About Me

Hi all! I'm a Southern California girl living abroad in Thailand as an English teacher. I'm a bit of a night owl who enjoys dancing, hanging out with friends, exploring and learning. I've travelled quite a lot and lived in a few places throughout my 26 years here. My all-time favorite city that I lived in is New Orleans, USA and my favorite country I've visited is Belize.

Below is a quick summary of a few other things that make me "ME":
*Earth and space-loving geology nerd
*Dinosaur enthusiast!!!
*Nature-obsessed, animal-loving (I have 3 cute kitties) and adventurous
*Swimmer, hiker, and water polo player
*Lover of jokes, laughter, being silly and good times
*Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and Game of Thrones fan (obsessed)
*Red wine lover
*Night owl

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: pretty much everything and anything. Some of my favorite artists/bands are The National, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Jack Johnson, Brand New, Arctic Monkeys, Elohim and Halsey.

Movies - depends on my mood, but I enjoy documentaries, foreign films, indie films, comedies, horror films, dramas and Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson and Stanley Kubrick films.

Books - I'll read anything that is recommended to me, so please feel free to give me some options! Some of my favorite authors include Charles Bukowski, Kurt Vonnegut, Albert Camus, Rupi Kaur and JRR Tolkien, but there's so many more that I love!
I just finished the Game of Throne series and The Alchemist - amazing read! I'm currently reading My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem and you are here by Thich Nhat Hanh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on archaeology excavations in Belize and Israel

I've been to 49 of the 50 US states - try to guess which one I'm missing!

I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guyana, South America

I went to Contra Burn in Israel (a much smaller, more intimate version of Burning Man)
