My name is Rachael and I'm in love with all things outdoorsy, particularly hiking, rock climbing, skiing, a bit of SCUBA, as well as a total addiction to chasing waterfalls. I love meeting new people and learning about where you live and what you are interested in, so if you're happy to have me I'd love to explore with you!

Reading Shantaram at the moment (incredible). I also love the book Glass Houses, and will read anything! Big into folk and acoustic music but will also listen to anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to Everest Base Camp via Salleri and the Three High Passes solo before I came to Canada. I also hiked Annapurna Base Camp and the Manasulu Circuit in the Himalaya. It was incredible, if youre going I can give you the run down!

I used to work as a travel agent for trips around Australia, so if you want any help planning a trip to Aus I'll get really excited and give you a whole itinerary. Otherwise I can offer a silly story or two and some Aussie slang!
