Overview
About Me
I'm an experienced English and Italian language tutor, cultural adviser and translator. I teach in Manchester city centre and in the country location where I reside which offers a more chilled out, immersive and quintessentially English learning experience whilst also providing you the opportunity to discover the dramatic Saddleworth landscape and a true taste of real Northern English culture.
I've lived and worked abroad since I was a teenager. Au-pairing in the USA, Tenerife and Switzerland; sheep- farming in Sardinia; teaching business English in Milan and various other locations around Europe.
I have a love for South America and have travelled around a part of Venezuela and a few Caribbean islands. Places I hope to return to and possibly widen my parameters.
Music, dancing and making good food are passions of mine. I appreciate the arts in general. I love being immersed in nature whilst being equally enthused by city life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing was introduced to me by an experienced host and good friend of mine. He believes that Couchsurfing is an ideal platform for me to extend my network of international connections whilst offering my expertise in the field of linguistics and language aquisition.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Developed a fast-track method for learning English.
(And/or having had a pee in James Brown's loo on his private yacht ?!?)
