I am currently living in Hervey Bay and have done so for the last 2 years. It has always been my ‘dream job’ and I now working as a nurse in the emergency department at Hervey Bay Hospital.

I am a very down to earth person, always up for a chat about absolutely anything and always willing to head off on spontaneous adventures and give anything a try. I have a very positive outlook on life and really enjoy meeting new people and creating new friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of being able to offer travellers a place away from home, somewhere where they can feel safe and relaxed.

Friends of mine / my housemates are also on couch surfing and have hosted many, many people. It has been awesome meeting different sorts of people, from so many different places around the world, so I thought why not try it for myself.

Let me be honest, I would much rather sit in front of the TV and watch the ‘movie version’ rather than read a book. My favourite genre of movies being horror / thriller.

I, myself, have not travelled much (YET!) so I am always willing to learn about other cultures and listen to people’s stories of their adventures / travels, and any tips on great places to visit one day! In return I will do my best to educate you on some Aussie culture too.

I have a trip coming up at the end of September for a month where I will be travelling through some of France, Germany and Italy.. Something I am really looking for to.
