ABOUT ME

I'm part grandmother and part adventurer. I love curling up with a good book, especially classic English literature, and a cup of tea- bliss! On the other hand, I love turning up in new places, meeting new people and learning about different ways of life. I'm a friendly, patient and fun girl who is easy-going and calm in a crisis. I'm a Christian and I love learning about God through this amazing world that he has made.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living life with an open heart, ready to offer kindess and friendship, and an open mind, ready to learn from everything and everyone. My goal in life is to live for God and be a blessing to everyone I meet.

I have just returned home from a year overseas, meeting lots of amazing people through this site. I hope to start hosting soon when I am settled into a house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2012 I travelled around the world with a friend and spent several months couch surfing in countries around Europe and the UK.

I am a primary school teacher in a small country town and spend all my time teaching or preparing to teach, and being with my friends and family. I love to read, write, play piano, watch chick flicks (especially BBC) and eat chocolate!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Taking a hot air balloon ride over the beautiful landscape of Cappadocia, Turkey, was breathtaking. Spending two months in Calcutta, India, teaching English in a children's home was one of the most worthwhile and inspiring experiences of my life.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach 8 year olds to read, write, spell and do maths! Otherwise, I can definitely teach English, and can start someone on piano. I can teach you to sing in harmony, scrapbook and cook very badly.
