I'm a 30 year old journalist who can't go more than a year without exploring somewhere new. From the politically engaging capes of South Africa; to the wombat wilderness in Australia; to the coastal beauty of Australia; to my big-hearted home in Washington DC, I have traveled beyond my borders to pursue the new places and people that make this world beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What a better way to understand a new community and place than to spend time with someone in their home. We can chill at a great bar, go for a hike, or just chat in the evenings after a long day of adventures!

I believe in respectful living. I always cleanup, stay in communication to make plans, and am happy to cook you a thank-you meal.

Though I’ve couch surfed before, many of the set-ups were though friends’ accounts, who I was traveling with. I’m looking forward to doing it on my own and being more active in the community!
