About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world spreading positivity and peace, taking in different experiences, cultres, people and learning all about whats out there...
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy going, English Female, travelling the world.
Been left the UK 2011, left everything behind. Sold a business, a car, my old life really. As well as sadly leaving behind good family and friends. All to get out and experience life to the fullest, no more 9 -5, just a cog in the machine, predictable life running the rat race. Returned home in 2016 with renewed energy and enthusiasm for life and new found appreciation for my little home town living.
I want to meet cool, interesting new people, see extraordinary sights, learn new things, open my mind some more and have fun....and boy o boy am I!
Seen central and south America, Japan, South Africa, Asia, Done an Australia 2 year working holiday visa, a 2 year New Zealand working holiday visa, been out to Canada, to meet up with some friends and do a road trip up to Alaska. Its been beyond amazing!!
PHILOSOPHY
You get back what you give out. I hope to spread happiness and positivity, and i can truthfully say, that is definitely what i have gotten back since traveling. Life is too short to be pressured into a shitty job you hate, with people that don't get you, just so you can buy things you don't really want or need to impress people you don't care about and who don't really care about you.
The world is such a big place, with many interesting people. I want to try and experience as much as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i love to meet new people and get the vibe for a place from a locals perspective!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed in Alcie springs with a cool guy called Seb who put us up in his spare room and played all these AMAZAING instruments. Had an awesome night out and when we returned home drunk together we all watched Pitch Perfect for the first time....THE BEST experience!
Then there was Meg in Tasmania, what a cool chick, really chilled out girl, showed us round and even took us to a local fancy dress party for a night out. Wicked time.
In Panama during Carnival time, we stayed with this unique Canadian guy called Rod who put us up in Hammocks out in his back yard...what an experience!
Then most recently there is Lyall up in Auckland, we went sailing together with his family round Auckland then went on a motorcycle tour of north Auckland...such a chilled and super generous guy!!

All music really! in particular im enjoying 1930's - 1940's swing, Kordaline, fleet foxes, the shins, classic 1980's rock, and the foals music at the moment. oh and top 40 pop for a boogie. ;)
books...ooh, thats a tough one. depends on my mood. But in general i love a good fantasy fiction series like Eragon, True Blood, Harry Potter, Clan of the Cave bears, Twilight. Also random fiction too like Outlander or game of thrones (song of fire and ice)
