About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring and meeting new people- hopefully you?
ABOUT ME
Surprisingly bitter for being so idealistic- in other words, I'm a very happy, smiley person that often says morose and sarcastic things. Right now I'm taking a year or two off before starting law school, and before you shudder at the thought of having a future lawyer crash or your couch or vice versa, I'm going to be an environmental lawyer. That's right, crazy-mad karma and little cash. Anyways, I've just completed degrees in environmental studies and English so if you want to talk global warming or books- I always do. Also, I love telling and listening to stories as well as living story-worthy adventures.
PHILOSOPHY
Suppressing the urge to relate one of those oh so inspiring but widely known quotes. Ahhh, can't hold it back: "Be the change you wish to see in the world" -Gandhi.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just getting started. Right now I'm traveling, but when I get back I hope to host people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The best way to connect with someone doesn't necessarily require spending a day in their shoes, I find that a night or two on their couch also gets the job done. I've made some incredible friends and have only had positive experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big time Bob Marley fan-which I probably owe to my parents. I like a lot of music, not all of which I'm proud of (Justin Timberlake, Enrique Iglesias, Lil Wayne, Juanes, Toby Keith).
Movies: The Harder They Come, The Goonies, The Last Unicorn, Life is Beautiful, Princess Bride
Books: anything Jane Austen, Alexandre Dumas, Dracula, Confederacy of Dunces, Catch 22, Invisible Man, I Capture the Castle, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, and Twilight (I can explain myself).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I attended an art school in Havana, Cuba for a semester. Pretty much amazing- even with my overwhelming lack of artistic talent.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really good at book recommendations. Tell me a little about yourself, and I can help you to find some really good books.
Spanish! I'm not going to lie, this has drastically declined lately and I want it back. Practice speaking would definitely help.
Dancing skills-what I lack in skill, I make up for with enthusiasm-but it's fun and I would like to get better, especially at salsa dancing.
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
