About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting as much snow as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm from New Zealand and I'm living in France for a year. I'm a pretty relaxed person; I'm keen to travel around a bit and I'm always interested in an adventure. I found this really hard to fill out, talking about yourself isn't the easiest.

I'm just like anyone else really , finding things to look forward to, things to enjoy and make my spare time worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing so far, but I'd interested in meeting people to climb, hike, eat, drink, dally about with.

Interests

Climbing, skiing, hiking, slacklining; I like spending a lot of time outdoors. I'm always in for a good meal and a drink or two as well, especially if it turns into a good story. Mostly, just show me something new and you'll have me won over.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books currently on my nightstand; The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen by Paul Torday, Dune by Frank Herbert, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Aeneid by Virgil (although why I'm still trying with this one) and Bridge of Birds Barry Hughart.

As for films, I'll sit down to watch almost anything, especially if it's scifi.

Music is a must for me, again I'm quite a varied listener. I'll always love stuff à la the British Invasion, and those influenced by it, and I'll happily indulge in a bit of folk-y stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do a lot of climbing and on one climb, I had the most amazing top out at the top. I was terrified the whole way but it just got so spectacular once I was finished.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've got a bit of a store of knowledge on climbing and hiking, and I'll learn anything once, expect maybe cooking. I am entirely mediocre at that.
