About Me
I am a peace activist writer/poet/conceptual artist My current projects are the Embrace Project - about our shared humanity and how to utilize it to transform personally and collectively, and a sculptural installation series - The Global Peace Well Project. Check out my website for more info - rachelbairdart.com
I am also a traveler and host for Servas (ask me about it) - the Servas.org focus is on world peace through cultural exchange. I have a personal history with universal peace efforts and the movement for non-violent communication. I also make art films and documentaries (just finished a dance art film and a documentary on seaweed). I am always writing, have several writing projects in the works - most of the comedy related.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet amazing people all over the world - have a global community of friends.
Interests
I am interested and engaged in this world of our making. How to raise it up and make it a better place and for humanity to reach its higher potential. I am a spiritual person and find that nature and wilderness renew my body, mind and spirit. That is how I recharge. I love exploring, finding amazing places and people, connecting to a true sense of place and experiencing community on a deeper level.
