Howdy travelers and hosts alike! I'm a lifelong lover of skipping and twirling from NY state. For now I'm trying to get the hang of this whole PNW thing while I'm continuing my formal education to become an soil scientist and agronomist. I'm a fan of conversations over food and cooking-- the most honest parts of ourselves come out when onions are cooking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've benefited from many kind souls hosting me in my life and have grown to appreciate what a warm safe place to sleep can mean to a traveler. If I can make the journey more friendly, it's the least I can do to pay it forward.
Additionally I am a fan of making tiny homes in the world: building strong meaningful connections in unexpected places. Hosting/visiting others helps me develop a decentralized feeling of community.
