Hey guys! I'm Rachel from Brittany in France. Currently, my partner Cédric and I, travel in Europe and Asia. Cédric is from Grenoble in the Alpes and is 32 yo. It's already been more than 2 years that we are travelling together. We've been to South America and spent some time in Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador.

Before travelling, we worked for an organization in Metz, France as social workers. I studied sociology and Cédric is philosopher. I've been to Morocco (for 10 months) and Moldova (for a year) as a volunteer before my degree. Cédric lived in Bolivia for 4 years and worked for an NGO there.

We like meeting people while travelling to know better the culture and understand the history of the country and more. We lived in a house with 10 people in Metz, we like to share some times with people and also respect the personal space of each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good way to share with others, visit some places through locals eyes, enjoy meals or drinks together while getting to know each other.

Interests

We love hiking, hanging around. We have a tent and we like to hike and camp in different places.
Cédric is fond of alpinism.

I like to read books about psychology, sociology, feminism. Cédric is passionated by the litterature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Chernobyl and this was intense.

We climbed the Cotopaxi in Ecuador together, which is a summit about 5897m of altitude, that was the first summit I've ever done and that was such an experience!

Cédric climbed multiple summits, the highest was the Chimborozo in Ecuador as well and is about 6310m.

We learn everyday by everything. We like to hear people stories, experiences and share ours.

We both like to cook and it's always a pleasure to cook for people. We can cook some French dishes! Cédric is a vegetarian, we like to cook vegetarian dishes.
