About Me

I'm a former student/bartender turned teacher. I'm a little shy and introverted, but I want to see and experience as much as I can, and I want like minded people to share my time with. I loved being a bartender, and after my time teaching is done, hope to go back to it, because I get to be with people, and see their lives. Its fascinating and an immensely satisfying job for me, because I always learn something new about people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, share experiences and, most importantly, explore little corners of the world.

Interests

Reading, film, taking photographs, staring into space and daydreaming, drinking great red wine and the best draught beers a country has to offer, seeing and doing something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in Uganda and built a playground for a school in a remote village, while there I went White Water Rafting on the most dangerous rapids in the world (and I can't swim).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about new cultures and sharing stories of the cultures I've experienced. There is nothing truer than sharing a drink with somebody (preferably red wine) and exchanging what makes our lives unique and the beautiful things we have been fortunate to experience.

My enthusiasm for film and adventure.
