About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to explore all of God's beautiful creation! See the world through a locals eyes, and live life to the fullest.

ABOUT ME
My friends call me natureRach because I love everything outside. Everyday is a new chance to explore the World than God made for us. I look for the best in every situation, love much and laugh often. More of a chill by the campfire than go to the party kind of girl.

I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, USA. I lived on a cattle ranch, where I first found my love for nature and animals. I'm from a big family so I really enjoy being around families, especially since I haven't seen mine in so long. Growing up I played many sports. Soccer (Futball) became my passion so I ended up playing Division1 soccer college soccer. It was a great experience, and taught me many life lessons. I wasn't ready to hang up the cleats though, so I moved to Austria and to play professionally for a year. I traveled all around living in Europe. Now I live in Redding, CA and am attending Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry while also working as a personal fitness trainer. Next year I'll begin my doctorate for physical therapy at a school back in Oklahoma.

PHILOSOPHY

"We are the clay, you are the potter; we are the work of your hand." Isaiah 63:19

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Get to know the host and their side of the city but not overstay my welcome. Have loved meeting so many cool people from so many places couch surf is an awesome invention.

I do NOT use Couchsurfing as a dating website....I use it to surf couches and host surfers. What it was made for.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing a lot when I lived in Austria and would go backpacking other countries. Before I left I hosted a few people in my apartment in Vienna. Had a great experience and will have some lifelong friends through it!

Interests

I love Jesus, anything outdoors and active, seeing new places and meeting new people. And dogs, they are my favorite! I'm kind of an adrenaline junky, I really love to sky dive (I've gone twice) and paraglide, I want to go bungee jumping! I love extreme sports like skiing and snowboarding! Nothing like fresh powder! I like water sports too like wake boarding, kayaking, white water rafting. As an athlete of course I love to workout and compete! I've done a half marathon and want to do a full sometime next year! I did two sprint triathlons, and enjoy mountain biking/ hiking also! I have a heart for children, love to impact them in a positive way. I've spent a lot of time volunteering at camps and outreaches. Probably the highlight of my soccer career was playing soccer barefoot in the mud with kids in Africa or Costa Rica. Something unlike anything else in the world when you can play this amazing game and bond with people you may have never met, maybe don't speak the same language...you just love the game as much as they do!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've witnessed Jesus heal people (including myself). The sunset over the Oklahoma country sky, or the sunrise in the African plains. Cows giving birth. Shooting stars. The world from a parachute.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories about Africa, stories about life in America growing up on the farm, I can play a little guitar, and I can help you out with any physical injuries since I've gone to school to be a Physical Therapist (not licensed yet though). I love to practice speaking German.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very chill, down to earth, clean couch surfer. Not just looking for a free couch, I like to meet the person and get to know them. I am independent too, though. I can find my way around if you are busy.
