Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been greatly inspired by Amanda Palmer's testimony on the 'art of asking'. She talks about how important it is to ask of those around you for support; how when you put yourself out there and lean on your fellow humans, a beautiful thing happens. You learn to trust. You get connected. I love that this platform is founded on the belief that humans are inherently good and can be trusted, even though the world says differently. I'm here to challenge myself to give and receive and experience the world in the process.
