About Me

I used to be a 911 operator and learned quickly not to take my life for granted. I left that job and now just trying to enjoy the simple beauties in life! My husband, Justin, and I are recently married and want to start off with a few months of travel before life gets too serious. We are both friendly and adventurous people. He’s a social butterfly and loves a good laugh, while I love to put in the hard work to see God’s great treasures! We like to hike, lounge on a beach, love our dog, enjoy a good view, like to get adventurous with our food, and always love an evening out with friends :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to enjoy married life with some travel and meet new people along the way. People are just as much a part of God’s great gift to us. We are excited by the opportunity to see life and culture through a natives eyes, and not necessarily a tourist's view. We hope whomever we stay with, we will get to explore their hometowns and city life with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to read like crazy! I loved science fiction, general teen fiction, and mystery novels. Now I feel like I never have time to read, when really I’m just binge watching Netflix shows like Grey’s Anatomy. I recently decided to get rid of my social media and it’s freed up my time to enjoy so much more life offers! Justin and I looooveeee Game of Thrones and Marvel movies. He’s also a total sports and concert buff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked 135 miles of the John Muir Trail in California. Took me 11 days, and I did it mostly alone. Was the most difficult and amazing experience of a life time!

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is too short and people die too young every day. The world can be so full of hate, so be the good you want to see. It’s our desire to see the beauty in the world before our own lives get away from us, and maybe leave a bit of good or happiness in our wake 😊 also, try not letting Fear make decisions for you. You’ll never know if you don’t try 🤷🏼‍♀️

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are great conversationalists and would love to adventure with you. We are young and free spirited, we like to go out, investigate, and explore. We bring good cheer, and a different perspective. Plus, you can never make too many friends :)
