About Me

I started traveling after high school and it has been one of the best things I've done. Connecting with people is what I'm about, learning from each other and doing life together. Food is my love language, if you love good food and can show me something I have never had before, we will get along splendidly. I love music, sharing mine and hearing new.

I have just returned to America from nine months in Europe. I will be spending a couple more months in Montana, but I want to move to the west coast and will be taking a road trip to visit friends and family and check out some towns along the way that I might like to move to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I value people as the most important thing about traveling. Getting to see how someone lives, what makes them excited, and their favorite local spots are the things that I want to experience everywhere I go.

I have met some incredible people on Couchsurfing, ended up staying a week instead of a night, and seen parts of the world and people's lives I would never have been able to see otherwise.

Interests

Music is huge for me, I love singing and dancing and I prioritize concerts even when I'm broke. Getting outside, whether it's walking somewhere I've never been, going on a hike or checking out back roads and where they lead. Anything I can do to hang out with the people I love and meet new ones, preferably over a glass of good beer or coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Is playing all day everyday for me. Bluegrass and Blues, Folk, Alternative, Indie and Latin are my favorite, anything I can get groovy to is a must.

Movies - Pride and Prejudice, Elf is my Christmas favorite, most Disney movies (I'm a child at heart)

Books - Anne of Green Gables, Infadel

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to live in Australia for three months while attending a school with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and then spent three months doing mission work in Nepal and Malaysia. The people I got to meet and work alongside were incredible and the opportunity to see a culture so different than mine taught me so much.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love food. Show me how to cook something you love and hopefully something that I've never had before. I love sharing music as well, but more than anything, I value sharing life and hearing about where you come from, what you've learned and where you're going. These are my favorite things to talk about as well!
