I am an Environment student at McGill University, grew up in the suburbs of Toronto and moved to Montreal last fall. I am working on making my French fluent and also learned/learning American Sign Language (because why not!). I love animals, exploring the outdoors, but also enjoy some time with good old Netflix! I've been WWOOFing which was where I first learned about couch surfing but I am still quite new to the concept!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book by far is 1984 by George Orwell, or Animal Farm also by Orwell. Really anything by Orwell... Favourite movie is Silver Linings Playbook and favourite music.. That is a hard one because it really depends on my mood! I pretty much like all types of music, with perhaps the exception of techno.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked on an alpaca farm where I got to see new babies each morning that were born overnight, move the most stubborn goat by pushing his ass, and learn to drive a tractor!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love food- eating it, making it... but mostly eating it! I love to try new recipes, and sharing it with people around me. I'd love to learn any new languages I come across and of course share any knowledge I may have of one as well. I'd love to learn of places to go in the area, and the greener the better!
