About Me

I'm an artist/writer/yogi in the pursuit of happiness. Downsizing my belongings so I can have more life experiences. I'd rather have great stories and memories than a house full of dust-catchers! About to spend the summer traveling up the state. Leaving SoCal for NorCal. I have 2 (oldish) cats (they're my ESA animals so technically not "pets" but they for sure don't pull their weight, I have never once known them to scoop their own litter box!) that are traveling with me. I was recently injured in an accident and am currently figuring things out for what's next. I'm fascinated to see how this plays out :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in a period of transition and have had a few bumps along the way. I'm heading up north for the summer but my temporary housing (for the days between move out and security deposit return) has fallen through, not once, but three times in the past three days. So I'm trying to make the best of it and turn in into an adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

There are way too many to list here, but I'll put a few. Though, I will say this, life is too short to read bad books!

I love the following authors:

Margaret Atwood
Stephen King
Neil Gaiman

I loved the Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman. I prefer The Hunger Games books to the films. I actually don't think Tolkien is overrated.

I used to work in costumes (before my injury) so don't even get me started on films unless you want to hear all about anachronistic zippers and which fabrics actually existed at the time lol.
