I am an 18 year old girl living in Sheffield as a Student, but my family live in Oxford. I am currently studying English Literature and absolutely love my degree and my University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hitchhiking to Bucharest in Romania for charity with my two friends Sam and Amy. At my university, we have a student run society that has organised charity hitchhikes since 2003 and today is the largest student hitchiking group in the world! We are raising money for local Sheffield charities, who help a wide range of people all over the city, ranging from those with learning difficulties, the homeless or sufferers of domestic abuse. I am on couch surfing as people willing to host me, and my two team mates, in different cities would really help our aim of arriving in Bucharest on the 2nd of April. We start at the Student's Union in Sheffield on the 25th of March, and have 9 days to get to Romania using the kindness of other people.
