Overview
About Me
Just graduated college with a degree in Biosystems Engineering. I'm into sustainability, energy & water conservation, and environmental work in general. I work hard and play hard. My friends and family are always first, and I love animals.
I apologize to all who have messaged me in the last year - unfortunately I didn't realize that I had left the app on "accepting" while I've been moving and traveling quite a bit. I have recently gotten settled and am interested in opening up my home for guests soon. More on that in the next few weeks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I found couch surfing and I feel like it'd be a great way to meet people and experience the culture in different places around the world. I workout a lot, love to cook, talk, drink, dance, and just relax. There are no strangers, just friends I haven't met yet!
Interests
Growing up in Lexington, Ky - the horse capital of the world - I have enjoyed riding horses for many years. I have owned and sold two of my own horses before.
I've also started enjoying yoga a great deal recently. I love the outdoors. Hiking, swimming, kayaking, I love all of it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of music. I feel like mood and activity really dictates what music I will be listening too. I love hearing what other people love to listen too. As far as movies, I love ones that keep you guessing, sometimes even intensely sad ones. Some of my favorites are The Prestige, The Princess Bride, The Help. Books are hard.. I haven't gotten a lot of time to read for fun while in college. I really like exploring classics right now, I have a small stack by my bed I'm working through right now. So hopefully I'll be able to tell you more soon!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran with the bulls when in Pamplona, Spain in the summer of 2013. I was on a study abroad trip and I really loved it. Everyone there was lovely and so friendly. I also just love festivals!
Teach, Learn, Share
Over the past four years I've learned a lot of technical engineering information. I'm ready to let it settle in and have time to think about what I'm supposed to do with all of it, so I'm open to advise. As far as what I have to offer, I am adept at fixing a lot of household problems, and also have a lot of experience with farm work and all types of farm animals. I'd love to listen to what you have to offer me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, food & cooking, hopefully I will have some samples of bourbon from Kentucky with me! And I'm very good about helping out around the house with chores and such - or even in barns haha!
