My name's Rachel and I'm a student at Ohio State University. I'm currently studying psychology and neuroscience and am very interested in how the brain works. Beyond that, I'm an avid reader and writer and desire to travel the world (like most people my age). I love learning about different cultures and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always dreamed of travel and I believe that a major part of travel is about becoming immersed in the new country and their culture. Couch surfing would allow me to meet locals of the cities I visit and open my mind in regards to different areas of them world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are "Anthem" by Ayn Rand and "1984" by George Orwell. Kind of have a thing for dystopian universes. My favorite movie is "The Shawshank Redemption." And my favorite band is the British band Glass Animals. I also like Alt-J, Portugal. The Man, and Chet Faker.
