I am from a town called Coral Springs, Florida in the US and I have been living in Haifa, Israel for the past 6 or so years. I am a Social worker in the mental health and trauma field and a Yoga teacher (Vinyasa/Ashtanga). I love singing and playing guitar, I sing in a choir. I also love being outdoors, among the trees, mountains and beaches.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that the best way to learn about a place is to spend time with the locals which couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to do and allows me to give others the opportunity to do.

Interests

Music (folk, singer-songwriter, acoustic stuff) - playing and listening. Yoga, vinyasa/Ashtanga, breath work and yoga philosophy. Reading. Being outdoors. Exploring new places, from new bars and restaurants to new hiking trails.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a remote village in Nepal for 7 months and learned to communicate in Nepali :)
