About Me

My husband and I live in Qatar and work in Emergency Medicine as field supervisors. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our family when we are back home. We try to keep an open mind and love to learn about cultures and religions. We are sometimes criticized as being “too happy.” We believe that destiny is created and luck is what you make it… Believe in good things and good things happen. We try to embrace the good, love life and give back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on here to connect with others in hopes to help grow the world wide travel community. We want to help people like us that share a desire to get out of their comfort zone and enjoy the world.

Interests

Love, Life and laughter. That's corney I know; honestly we love being happy and nature. We enjoy helping our fellow man and educating. We love furry animals, wild wonderlands and getting lost in far off places. I also like trying new forms of art and going SCUBA diving.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm tempted to say everything but that's not completely true. As with anyone it depends on the mood. My go to relaxing artiest is Jack Johnson but I also enjoy old classic rock and folk too. My husband enjoys many of the same music styles as well as latin tunes by various artist that I can’t recall. We adamantly watch to much TV and enjoy The Walking Dead, as well as sifi, honor and cartoons movies. We read non-fiction books about emergency medicine, finance, and travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our brother passed away recently and we where blessed to be by his side. We watched life fade from his sweet soul and felt him embrace his next journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are up for hosting guests and look forward to meeting up with others when we travel too. We are embrace life and want to live life deep.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are kind enough to let us stay with you then we would be happy to offer our advice about traveling to places we lived or visited. We can give you pointers on emergency first aid and teach you a little Spanish. We would also love to hear about you local home town and hear you favorite tunes. Maybe a trip to a local food spot, market or second hand store.
Anyone saying with us can expect a clean cool bed and shisha. We have a spare room with large bed. We enjoy the not so healthy habit popular in this country called shisha. It's a flavored tobacco smoked in a water pipe.
