About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A life of puns and palindromes.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young-ish, single, working lady and I just moved to London.

Like probably every other couch-surfer, I enjoy people and helping people and working together with people and learning from people.

I'm social, but sometimes tend to talk too much. I can be a bit socially awkward, which I've been told is somewhat endearing.

I try hard to be generous and kind and loving because I've been a recipient of generosity and kindness and love and it's changed my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Call out for insight, and cry aloud for understanding...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've hosted a few surfers and surfed a few couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently got involved because last minute I needed a place to stay for the night. My experience was far better than I expected it to be. Now, I'm looking forward to being able to host with the same grace and generosity as the woman who hosted us.

Interests

Hearing people and learning from them. Thinking out loud with other people. Being able to be who I am.

Also, music and bike riding and the beach and drinking coffee and relaxing and writing in my journal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed the Chicago, Olympic Triathlon. Pretty amazing for anyone who knows how often I work out (not often).

Teach, Learn, Share

Gracie and I have been learning to brew beer, and if you stay with us, we'll probably have some bottles that we've brewed.

I also bike and have one that I can lend to surfers looking to experience Chicago on bike (it's a very bike-friendly city).
