Hello I'm Rachel!

I am 24 years old, and I grew up in the countryside in England. I love to be outdoors and camp, hike, ride horses, cycle, meditate and share my love of nature with new people. I have traveled a little in Africa, USA, Asia and some of Europe. I recently graduated from the University of Leeds and have been working in terminal care. In April 2019 I am setting off to do hiking and wild-camping in Scotland, then I hope to head on to Scandanavia.

I spent a year living in Madrid and have done seasonal work with horses in the South of Spain so I speak good Spanish and I have just started to learn French. I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat meat or fish.

I want to make connections with kindred spirits and meet new people. I hope that my using couch surfing I will be able to travel in a more authentic way and learn more about life from like minded people.

I cycled from Leeds to Berlin with a group of students from my University. It was so fun and liberating, and started my love of cycling!

I can teach you about horses, including natural horsemanship.

I can help with English and Spanish, and teach some fundamentals of the Zen Buddhist tradition and meditation techniques.

I also love cooking delicious vegetarian meals!
