Hi ! My name is Rachel, I am French and I currently live in Grenoble, surrounded by our beautiful French Alps. I have been an au pair in a French/Sweden family in 2021 during 10 months.

I like to travel and meet new people. I want to discover the world around us through the eyes of the inhabitants who agree to transmit their knowledge to me.
I'm freelance graphic design after my school ou after my work for Decathlon. (i'm also graphic designer for them)
If i'm not traveling I spend my time with my friends or draw.
I think life is worth living and I want to make the most of the opportunities !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to find the charming people who will be ready to welcome me to their home, to share their daily and their way life.
I would like to learn more about the culture of this country, know the stories of the hosts and be able to share mine.

Interests

I am very interested in the environment and the weel-being of the planet. This is partly why I chose to come to live my experience as an au pair in this country, Sweden.

I rarely read because I don't have the opportunity, I think it's the fault of Netflix !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A year ago, I left with my backpack and a friend for a few days to hike near the Swiss border near Geneva.
Our goal was to sleep at home with people who lived in the city. (I wasn't aware of this app at the time)
It was complicated but we had to meet a wonderful family and we shared our adventures.
